THE ANATOMY OF EVERYDAY LEADERSHIP

MAKING THE DIFFERENCE

" The young Alexander conquered India. Was he alone?

Caesar beat the Gauls. Did he not have even a cook with him? "

' Question's from a worker who reads '  Berthold Brecht

Everything ever achieved by more than one person has been achieved by teams and their leaders. Not always glorious or of historical note but very real and important to those who delved and span.

This is our daily life working in teams within organisations.

At Wild Logic we recognise the difficulties and the fulfilment gained when leading front-line teams; supporting customers, feeling worthwhile, if often misunderstood. Leading teams that verge on a peer group is hard work; hard on your emotions and hard on your motivation.

The Anatomy of Everyday Leadership distills the essence for those new to leadership. It provides a roadmap to organisations wishing to steal a march on the cultural time bomb facing so many businesses post-covid.

Like all great endeavours, it begins with a plan. In this case, a Culture Strategy.

MAKE NO MISTAKE - IT IS ALWAYS ABOUT WINNING

Every aspect of an organisation's life is competitive. Measurement is a score and hence a judgement. Winning is achieved by teams of people and their ability to build strong relationships.

The taproot, the key source of nourishment, is Leadership

The Anatomy of Everyday Leadership establishes a level playing field and common language for all team leaders and project managers.

Why Leadership.jpg

There is a flow:

-  Buy in with a Strategy for your culture change - creating a destination

-  Levelling the playing field with a common langauge - leadership

-   Process follows language with minimum standards - how we do things

SENIOR LEADERSHIP FACILITATED SEMINARS

CULTURE STRATEGY - OUTCOME - DESTINATION

The intended outcome is agreement on the way forwards - which might be a lot, it might be some or it might be none. At the very least a common understanding of the expectations at each level of the leadership pyramid provides renewed clarity of what is required to achieve the organisation's purpose.

This seminar requires commitment from senior management teams; to come together, engage and identify next steps. Ideally  creating expectations, budgets, timelines and heroes in the process.

TEAM BUILDING

LEADERSHIP - THE LANGUAGE OF LEADERSHIP

MINIMUM STANDARDS - HOW WE GET THINGS DONE

It ia fairly straight forward, once you understand the skills you need  to build a team. But you then have to develop and train your team to ensure that they can deliver on the day, flawlessly, under pressure. It is not until you cross the startline you really begin to forge your team.

First contact is the beginning, not the end. How are you going to manage that year in year out in your organisation.

Wild Logic delivers 'The Anatomy of Everyday Leadership', changing the way that teams and their leaders cooperate to deliver objectives.

We provide your everyday leaders with the baseline of knowledge, understanding and skills to lead motivated, effective teams whilst staying sane.

BESPOKE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

The common language we need is the language of Leadership. Traditionally there has been a 'jury's out', 'hands off' approach to defining the facts of Leadership. But The Anatomy of Everyday Leadership clearly defines the relationship between the team and the objective, between leaders at different places within the Leadership Pyramid. Speaking a common language with all implications understood and expectations unavoidable is the only way to build a culture and an organisation.

We craft a bespoke solution from our collection of identified needs. We design the outcome against your business needs. But most importantly we are not telling you how to run your business. We are simply creating the base layer of common understanding. Unlocking the power of everyday leadership.
